Visions of Sugar Plums
November 17, 2009

Aren’t these images beautiful. They’re from Noa Noa Miniature’s Christmas collection, and have such a gorgeous vintage storybook quality to them, they make me wriggle in anticipation. Look at those plums and jewel blues.
Christmas is going to be huge at ours this year; I can’t wait! We are already stopping to examine every single Christmas decoration on route to everywhere. Along with having many animated discussions about how Santa could get inside when you don’t have a chimney. And trying to work out how ‘good’ does one need to be to make it onto Santa’s List.
When you have a three and four year old to share Christmas with, it can only be completely magical.

Oh so pretty!
I actually found a cute little Noa Noa set for Scarlett (bolero & skirt) at the opshop for $4.50! I bought it because it was so gorgeous but I had never heard of the label, needless to say I was quietly chuffed when I got home & googled it…!

Gorgeous images. I would have been completely enthralled with these as a child. I bet your girls are too.

Ooh yes Susan, I fully intend to create a little theatre for my girls. And I’m quite sure I will be completely and happily obsessed with every tiny detail. Aaahh!

I wish these images were from a film, there just seems to be a story begging to be told.

I love the new direction of your blog. It is both fresh and delightful. I’ve been laying low while I take new directions with my artwork so I’ve been remiss on checking in with you. I’m impressed!

I love the little theatre – I remember having a cardboard box, large, which we cut out and used as a puppet theatre when were kids. Maybe one in your children’s future?

I love Noa Noa. Not only the children’s collections, but the women’s collections too. Although I have to admit: I haven’t seen this year’s collection yet. Hmm. Tempting. Should I go check it out or should I better not? It could inspire me or ruin my plans to make everything myself…. tricky tricky…

Inspirational indeed! I always have all these huge ideas for home made Christmas decorations and details… if only I had time to do them all!
cheers!
