A gorgeous buddy, Michelle of Shelbyville recently nominated me for a Liebster award. They were new to me but Michelle says that Liebster means ‘dearest’ and the ‘award’ was created as a way to show a little love to fellow bloggers for their contribution to the blogosphere. Sounds great! It also turns out that the Liebster rules have been pretty rubbery over the years (how 3-5 questions becomes 11 is a mystery). I’ve been a bit rubbish with honouring awards in the past, I have every good intention but where does time go. However I have an idea. It’ll keep my blog nose clean and its just a tiny little tweak – a ‘Mini Liebster’ option if you will!
Step Three: I nominate these six lovely ladies. They are all incredibly creative, generous and inspirational.
These guys get things done, amazing things. And I’m itching to know a little bit more about them and how they tick.
Please visit them but be warned they have very addictive blogs.
… and their questions are:
- If you could live in any other country for a year where would you choose and why?
- Which are your top three favourite books?
- Tell us about a famous woman you admire.
- Tell us about a major moment you were brave and it paid off.
- Which period of history most interests you and why?
- Share an image from the last 12 months that took your breath away.
Phew! All done. Thanks Michelle I hope you feel as if I’ve done the Liebsters justice.
I’d so love to ask you those questions … but I know, I know … Step Five!
The rules are delightfully rubbery though don’t you think. xx
Just a quick note to say thanks to Francesca for the wonderful inspiration that I found on her blog.
She has a fun collaboration with photographer Xanthe Berkeley called Its a List Thing that turns
the humble list into a work of graphic art.
