Hello! …
I’m Alisa. I’m a part-time freelance Illustrator/Designer and a full-time zookeeper Mum to two little monkeys sweeties.
This blog is my journal. It’s a glimpse of my day-to-day life. It’s where I indulge my passion for illustration, design, photography and exploration. It’s my escape hatch and my workshop.
My previous work ‘incarnations’ have been a mishmash of weird and wonderful creative jobs in animation, film, design, advertising and broadcast. But I have to say, I’m currently enjoying my most colourful job to date.
If you come to visit me here you’ll most likely find me:
- Madly sketching or playing in ink, paint or assorted other art and craft supplies
- Exploring my new city, Melbourne, or anywhere else I’m lucky enough to visit
- Experimenting and taking gazillions of pictures with my well-loved camera
- Absorbed in a period of history and wishing desperately I had a time machine
- You will always find me being
tied upamazed by my kids!
